Pre natal training from 12 weeks to 40 weeks

I attended "Mothers in Motion" prenatal training classes last summer and autumn and I definitely recommend them! 

Stephanie, the trainer is a physiotherapist specialized in plevic floor treatment and manual therapy so each mama to be is followed up with great care and focus on their needs. When you start you get a great "inspection - analyses" of your body with individual tips and preventive treatment so your body can stay in balance the entire pregnancy.  She teaches you all about the abdominal muscles that you DO NEED to use in a certain way during your pregnancy to prevent any damage of diastasis.  The lessons are great and in English!  We never had a dull moment, the exercises vary everytime and they are intense but in a good effective way.  With good weather we were outdoors and with bad weather she has a nice facility so we could sport indoors as well. 

Pre-partum total preperation for your delivery

The "pre-partum" classes were also really useful and rich in information and practical examples: we were taught how to best prepare for each phase of the delivery, including breathing and relaxation techniques, and postpartum/recovery tips and tricks. My husband learnt how to massage and accompany me during the big moment" and postpartum days.

 

Nice way to meet other moms

Finally, thanks to Mother in Motion classes I met many other mums to be with a similar due date than mine: we became friends and still meet and share our journey with our babies 

I definitely recommend Stephanie and her classes to all pregnant women who want to get a 360' preparation for motherhood!
